SAE Charger Adapter for 12V Peg Perego Batteries
Can't find the original Peg Perego 12 volt charger? Use this adapter to charge your 12V Peg Perego battery with any smart charger that uses the standard SAE style connector (See image for what the SAE connector looks like).
We hear it all the time, your Peg Perego charger went missing or is damaged or never came with the toy from a garage sale.
Now you have a much less expensive and smarter option to consider when charging your 12V Peg Perego batteries. This PEGBLACK adapter is designed to work with Peg Perego toys that come with the BLUE case colored 12 volt batteries.
It allows you to use any smart trickle charger found in your garage that uses the SAE plug-n-play connector. The same charger that adults use on their motorcycles, ATV's, and cars can now quickly and safely charge your kids ride-on-toys too.
A secondary use for this adapter is to replace a broken battery cable connector coming from the ride-on toy. You will need to be a little mechanically inclined to complete the four step task:
- Cut off the old broken toy connector
- Cut off the end of this adapter that has the SAE connector
- Splice the two cut ends of the wire together
- Wrap the splice in electrical tape
