Safety and Gear

Your Safety Is Our Zion Canyoneering Guides Top Priority

in order to have fun, we must be safe

Here at All Ways Adventure, our guest’s safety is always at the forefront of everything we do. We want you to feel comfortable and confident that we do all we can to ensure that you have a safe and fun excursion. Before each outing, we go over a wilderness safety briefing and make sure everyone is ready to have a great experience.

For our rope-based adventures, canyoneering and rock climbing, we always do a safety briefing with you and double-check all of the technical climbing gear.  We use ropes that are top-rated and hold 5,000 pounds, they are inspected upwards of 10-15 times per day.

Our skilled guides are trained in wilderness safety and are there to not only guide you but to answer any questions you may have  and to make sure you have a fun and safe adventure. Don’t hesitate to check in with us throughout your trip.

Our Safety Gear

Ropes

We use only top of the line ropes and always use a redundancy system for safety. Ropes can hold up to 5,000 lbs, and are inspected before and after every use.

Lexus 4WD SUV

Our vehicles are inspected before each trip, and have received regular maintenance. We have upgraded the suspension and tires for a smooth ride. We carry off-road recovery gear on every trip as well, as a safety precaution

Rappelling Devices

We use a rappelling device called The Critr, it is very reliable and safe (and people love its design). All of our technical canyoneering and climbing gear is inspected before each use.

Harness and Helmet

Gearing up for a good and safe experience starts with our helmets and harnesses. We use only the best equipment and offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate all of our guests.

Safety Briefing

Our guides have Wilderness First Responder training, and they will provide you with important information you need to know before we head out.

First Aid Kits

Our guides all carry first aid kits with them on every adventure.

Heat Warning

During the summer months, it can get extremely hot out here in Southern Utah. We highly recommend that you start hydrating before your adventure begins. Bring plenty of water, and use sun protection like sunscreen, wear a hat, and protective clothing.
